How Donations Help:
Camp Northfield exists to provide a unique setting for campers to explore the Scriptures, experience the outdoors, and to exhort the church. Our camp presents an opportunity for campers to:

Have access to nature and allow disconnection from technology

Try new things and take appropriate risks

Be involved in a community growth setting

Participate in fun physical activity and have reliable access to nutritious meals

Be involved in active learning that engages kids’ interests

The History:
For many of Camp's beginning years, the full time staff had access to three different homes on Camp property. For various reasons, two of those homes have needed to come down in the past 30 years, leaving only a small Cape style home for full-time staff housing.
The past two Director's families have filled this small home well. Our hope and trust is that the Lord will bring a second family to Camp once we have the means to provide housing.
The Plan:

Build a 2,000 square foot, 4 bedroom ranch on Camp's property. The new home will be built along Pierson Road, allowing for much better security year round for the main portion of Camp's property.

Continue to maintain the former director's home in anticipation for the Lord to bring along the right family to fill it.
The Project:

The Camp Board anticipates the cost, from site work to completion, to be about $450,000.

Camp Northfield's Board of Directors is unified behind this project. It must be undertaken, for the current and future needs of Camp.
The Work:

Work began on the housing site in the fall of 2024. The site was quickly cleared of the thick woods and a new road was built connecting the house site to the top of the hill.

The winter months were busy as we pulled permits, secured (and passed!) the perc test, and drew up blueprints.

Ground was broken in June of 2025. Soon after, work began and has not stopped. Work will continue as the Lord brings the proper volunteers and funds to complete each task.

We are asking our supporters to join us through these spring and summer months as we host work days. We will share firm dates as we have them, however it is safe to assume there will be a work day every other weekend this fall.

Pray for this need. God can, and will, provide.

Prayerfully consider how you can help meet this need. Camp has no endowment or investment income to draw from, it is entirely dependent on camper income, one-time gifts, and monthly church and individual support.
