Camp supporters and friends, Registration is live for our 2022 Christmas Banquets! We will be hosting four banquets this year - December 2, 3, 9, and 10th. Click here for more information or to register. The cost for the event is $45/ adult or $80/ couple. The fees for children are broken down on the website in more detail. The ticket price for children includes their meal, a craft, and free childcare. Dress for the event is semi-formal.
We will once again be hosting our Annual Auction during each banquet. All proceeds from these auctions will be put directly into our Camper Scholarship Fund. This fund is used to provide children, who would otherwise not be able to attend, with a completely free-of-charge week of Camp during our summer season. Last year, in just two nights of auction, we raised enough to sponsor 8 children for Camp!
There are two ways to give to our annual auction. The first is by attending the banquet and participating in the auction. The second is by donating items of mid to high value to be auctioned off. Some of the things that have been auctioned off in the past are: handmade hats and jewelry; homemade fudge, cookies, and jellies; gift baskets; antique books and postcards; jewelry; framed photography; gift cards; and hand crafted home decor items. Camp Northfield is fully supported in the off season through the generous giving of local churches and individual believers. Between a decrease in monthly giving and an increase in costs, Camp has been met with a $4,000 deficit each month. This did not happen suddenly, but rather has occurred slowly over the years. Each month, Camp has $6,000 in general expenses and currently sees only $2,000 in guaranteed support. Of course, we understand that the Lord has always, and will always provide. We are asking you all, our faithful supporters, to please prayerfully consider becoming a member of our Dollars-a-Month club. Signing up through our website for automatic, monthly payments is quick and easy - and you only have to do it once! Pastors and church leaders, did you know Camp is supported by local churches, just as other missionaries are? The beautiful New England foliage has come and gone and now it's time to clean up! Mark your calendars on November 12 for an all-camp leaf cleanup. If you are interested in coming, please let Tom or Christi know by November 10 so a proper head count can be established. Work will begin at 8:30. Lunch will be provided!
