Dear friends,
Two days ago, we found ourselves in the middle of a serious and powerful late spring storm. It was amazing to see how weather conditions turned from clear and calm, to black, sheets of rain and tremendous wind all in a few moments. The first thing that came to mind was I’m so glad God is in-control. (Romans 8:28)
After the winds subsided my first task was to evaluate the damage. We lost our power and a few branches and leaves covered the camp paths and roads. As I drove through the neighborhood I was surprised and awed at all of the trees and huge branches that had fallen and covered the roads and a few houses. I was so thankful no one got hurt. Our God is so powerful and loving at the same time. (Psalm 91:2)
It is now Thursday, most of the trees have been cut up, roads cleaned and life is back to normal. Another example of God’s Protection up here on the hill.
